gone Fishin'...

This was an unexpected get together of two identical brothers, A & B, and one uber-kulet-bye-bye-plane Bingko and also ang pagbabalik ni don Marcelo sa Macau with Edward, Joanne and yours truly.

It started with a bet between the twins... "Kung sino ang unang makakita ng kakilala, panalo ng 10SGD!" not knowing that as soon as they arrived in the ferry terminal from HK, makikita nila si Edward na naging instant celebrity because of the surprised glee from A & B and a friend Owen... starstruck?! nyahaha.  They exchanged numbers, kaya lang ewan ko ba dito kay edward, masyado na-internalize ang kanyang pagiging star, he forgot to get their numbers, buti na lang may FB!

That Sunday night, we met them at Starbucks Venetian while they wait for the coming of the i-miss-the-plane-dramathon ni Bingko.  Timing din ang pagbabalik ni don Marcelo sa Macau because he will be fetched by two unforseen visitors na almost 6 years na hindi nagkita-kita.... nice no?! We had an instant reunion! :)

Next night, finally with Bingko, we filled their tummy with a smack of Portuguese food at Coke (due to its coke memorabilia filled resto) and had a little naughty trip for-the-boys-only thingy at Lisboa.

gone fishin' pala ah?! lol

To end the night before they fly back to SG, we went to Old Taipa, Taverna, where they had a taste of an authentic Portuguese beer, Super Bock, while jammin' to live acoustics.

And the winning answer to question "What do you like most in Macau?"

"Food... Culture... and great Company!" - Bingko

Kudos to Super Bock & Funtastic Twins!

CAST
A - mapuan classmate who now works at Singapore to fish in Geylang with his twin brother
B - mapuan engineering graduate who at times becomes A's fishy substitute especially when A skips his class to hibernate... just kidding!... to finish his design plates.
Owen - Joanne & I didn't get to meet him because he left that fishy afternoon.
don Marcelo - (Jomar) as we call him because he said he comes from the royal family.... charing! haha! He also had an unexpected fishy come back after ending his contract a year ago.  Also mapuan classmate and tropapipz.
Super Bock - (Bingko or Cyr) he's suppose to be in the same flight with the twins but due to unforeseen circumstances, he came late and ended up missing the HK itinerary.  He is also a renowned professional photographer in SG for his contribution to Rugby World Cup, Barclays Open and other outdoor sports.  Thank you super Bock for the fish eye photos! :)
Joanne - my fishy twin sister  :p
Edward - bakit ka nga ba nasa ferry? hmmm... i smell somethin' fishy...hahaha!
Roanne - it's not about the extra rice that makes me look fat in the photo... it's the fish lens... naks!defensive?

Smile

Paano nga ba ngumiti?

If I smile can anybody notice that I am hurting? Can anybody see that I am in doubt or lost?  Can anybody feel that I am longing for somebody?  Can anybody perceive my thoughts? Does anybody know that I am anxious? Can you feel me?  Can I hide everything from it?

A smile can disguise anything but it can never wash the pain away.

Who would ever think that the picture below is taken at the same time that I found out that there is a tumor in my father's lungs?

Have I accomplished to deceive you with this and achieved the true illusion of happiness?  Nobody knows right?  Nobody knows that I am in pain.  Nobody knows that I cry before I close my eyes to sleep.  Nobody knows that my family is grieving to every possibilities.  But we are choosing to be happy and be strong for one another. We are opting to be together and spend Christmas and New Year as close and memorable as ever.  We will always be hopeful to all the positivity as we count on HIM for mercy and miracle.

If I choose to smile would you also do the same?

Prayers for my tatay...

I am taking this moment to ask for your prayers for my father, there is a suspected tumor in his lungs but there are no definite results yet.  Sabi nila pagmadami daw ang nagdadasal masmadaling makarating kay big bro... please extend your prayers for his healing that no mass will be found and no sickness should lay upon him.

Maraming salamat!

And to break this sad news... here are some makulit na photos...
